Education and Outreach

Outreach & Education for Producers and Landowners
The High Desert Conservation District offers workshops and field days that provide practical, hands-on learning opportunities for producers and landowners. These events focus on soil health, water conservation, agricultural best management practices, and land stewardship, creating space for knowledge sharing and real-world application of conservation practices on working lands.

Youth Education
HDCD is committed to engaging youth through education that builds an understanding of natural resources at an early age. Youth lessons focus on soil health, water resources, agriculture, and conservation through age-appropriate, interactive activities. By exploring topics such as watershed health, efficient water use, and conservation practices, students develop a stronger connection to the land and the importance of caring for local resources.
